Terms of Service

1. Who we are

F1 Travel (“we”, “us”) is operated by Prayag Shah (contact: partnerships@formula1travelapp.com). F1 Travel helps you plan a trip to a Formula 1 race weekend and book parts of it. F1 Travel is not affiliated with Formula 1, the FIA, any team or any circuit.

2. What we do, and who you are buying from

Depending on the item, a booking works in one of two ways:

  • Booked through F1 Travel (race tickets and experiences paid on our checkout). We act as your booking agent: we arrange the booking with the ticket seller or experience operator on your behalf. That supplier provides the ticket or experience, and its own terms apply to it.
  • Booked with a partner (flights, hotels and any item marked “Book with partner”). We send you to the partner’s website, and you book and pay there under the partner’s terms. We may earn a commission; it does not change your price.

We do not sell flights, accommodation and other services together as a single package. Each item is a separate booking.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include the amount you will be charged for the item. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

When you pay, your card is authorised, not charged. We then secure your booking with the supplier. Your card is charged only once the booking is confirmed. If we cannot confirm it, we release the authorisation and you are not charged. Your bank may take a few days to remove the pending amount.

4. Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when we email you a confirmation. Until then your order shows as pending in My Bookings. Tickets and vouchers are delivered as described in the confirmation, which may include delivery by the supplier directly.

5. Cancellations and refunds

See our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Bookings made with a partner follow the partner’s cancellation rules.

6. Events outside our control

Race weekends can be rescheduled, shortened or cancelled by the organisers, and access to areas of a circuit can change. In that case the organiser’s or supplier’s policy decides what you are entitled to. We will pass on any refund or credit we receive for your booking and help you claim it.

7. Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for giving accurate traveller details. You must be at least 18 to make a booking.

8. Information on the site

Race schedules, ticket availability, prices and travel options come from organisers, suppliers and partners and can change. We try to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee them until a booking is confirmed. AI-generated trip summaries are suggestions only.

9. Liability

The supplier is responsible for providing the ticket, experience, flight or stay you booked. To the extent the law allows, our liability for a booking made through F1 Travel is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force when you book applies to that booking. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
